Patients who visit a podiatry clinic in Singapore are often encouraged to try out custom orthotic insoles. I'm one of those patients who tried them out, and I must say—they work like wonders!

Many podiatrists in Singapore recommend custom orthotics to patients with foot problems. I have flat feet, which is why my podiatrist offered me a pair of custom orthotic insoles to alleviate the pain.

My feet have little to almost no arch at all, meaning they're flat on the ground. It might seem like a minor problem, but having flat feet is frustrating! Fortunately, my custom insoles provide enough support and allow my feet to distribute a balanced weight.

Trying it Out For the First Time

It may sound like an exaggeration, but these insoles feel like heaven! For the first time in years, I'm can walk normally again. There's no more need to go through the daily frustration of foot pain. But how do these insoles work, anyway?

For starters, these orthotics come from a reputable manufacturer in Singapore. You must remember that to choose the right insoles for your feet, you must make sure the quality is top-notch. Buy only from a dependable clinic, and expect comfortable insoles as a result.

To get the right insoles, I had to go through around 20 minutes of consultation. The podiatrist evaluated my feet's condition, and they did a 3D scan of my feet to get the perfect customised insoles.

After a week or so, my custom insoles finally arrived. Once I tried them out, I felt like I was walking on cotton! I wore these every day to get a good feel for them, and they're still comfortable each time.

My favourite thing about these insoles is that they can fit most of my shoes. I can wear them anywhere I like, with whatever shoes I want.

Not Just For Feet Pain

Although orthotics are used for foot pain, they can also affect back injuries as well. With flat feet, there's an uneven distribution of weight that could affect your back. As a result, you'll feel back pain. Thankfully, the custom insoles can support a balanced weight

Sure, orthotic insoles aren't a direct solution for back pain, but since they affect both your back and feet, you might as well try them out. Studies already suggest that orthotic insoles have positive effects on your back, so if you're feeling mild discomfort on your back, you can try out a pair of custom insoles.

Summary

A pair of custom insoles works well for both adults and children. If you or someone else you know is experiencing foot problems, then a visit to a podiatry clinic should to the trick. If the doctor asks you to wear custom insoles, don't hesitate to agree! I can confirm that they work well on my feet.

If you've agreed to visit a foot clinic for children and adults, then try and visit East Coast Podiatry Clinic. A visit to a podiatrist could easily change your life!
