To be fit, one must play victim to excuses. There’s only one obstacle between you and your goals—and that’s you yourself.

I’ve been wanting to change myself for the better for quite some time now. It can be considered that I’m a fitness freak after I changed my lifestyle for the better. Before, I was highly motivated to reduce fats and build muscles, but I was lacking in commitment. Now, I am fully committed to being fit and I intend to stay that way!

Nowadays, I’m staying on the right track by committing to a strict diet and exercise regimen. As I practise my fitness regimen, I also love to read healthy food tips from PositiveMed. I learned a lot about diet plans for women and other women’s health facts.

Being informed is a part of the journey to fitness, so it’s crucial for me to read a lot about trending fitness lessons! Because of this, I’ve learned a lot about fitness in general thanks to PositiveMed. Their tips were truly refreshing. Here are a few things I picked up from PositiveMed.

A healthy diet doesnt equate to skipping meals

The word “diet” may sometimes be conceived as the act of skipping meals on a timely basis. However, this could not be any less true. A healthy diet means eating the right meals at the right time. I practiser at the gym for maybe 2 to 3 times a week with at least one cheat day, and so far, my body is still looking slim as ever!

Never skip meals if your body requires energy! Your body needs a source of energy wherever you go, so a healthy diet means eating healthy foods like veggies and protein.

Sugary drinks are a big no

It’s not just about what you eat, but rather what you drink. The beverage you consume on a daily basis is essential! Make sure your body is rehydrated with water and water only because sugary drinks like sodas and juices contain lots of sugar and calories. Stay away from these as much as possible.

Fish and veggies is the ultimate combo

Meat is tasty, no doubt about it, but it also contains a lot of problems as much as its rewards. This is why I opted for the fish and veggie combo! Fish contains necessary protein without the added risks of eating meat. As for vegetables—well, they’re veggies— and there’s nothing much about them other than being extremely healthy for the body!

Chicken soup is a blessing when youre sick

Apparently, chicken soup is an ideal meal whenever you have a cold. It has nutrients that help fight colds! Chicken soup is both tasty and healthy, what’s not to love about it?

Well, there you have it. These are some of the tips I’ve learned from reading a lot of articles from PositiveMen. If you want to learn more, I highly suggest visiting their website for more information regarding lifestyle in general.
